Community Supported Butchery
“Food sovereignty is what we mean when we talk about reclaiming the power of food. "
At Echo Valley, our #4Goods Meathouse is where we bring our commitment to ethical, local food production to life. It's a community butchery where our full-time butcher processes Echo Valley’s pasture-raised meats, as well as lamb, goat and pork from partner farms who share our values.
We also open the Meathouse to bookings from local farmers and hobby farmers, giving them access to professional butchering and packing services. Every animal is treated with care, and every cut is handled with respect — because we believe good food should stay connected to good land, good farmers, and good people.

The #4Goods Meathouse is our on-farm butchery, created to process Echo Valley’s meat and support local farmers with ethical, professional butchering and packing services.
Our meathouse is located on farm. Nestled in the Goomburra Valley, you'll find us on the Warwick side of the bottom of the Cunningham's gap.
100%! We can handle everything from pickup from the abattoir to butchering and packing, so you can drop off your animals and pick up your packaged produce directly from us.
We also allow (and encourage!) you to come and pack your own meat in the meathouse, which will result in a lower end price product for you, as well as connect you to your food even more.
Our meathouse supports small providers in our region, as well as families raising their own meat.
Currently, we have availability with our butchers and packers,
It is essential that you make a booking with us prior to sending animals to an abbotoir, as we have very limited availability alongside our own farm's everyday production.
