Hello!

Hi, we’re Randal and Juanita Breen. We've been farming here at Echo Valley since 2014, along with our two children Bridey and Eli, on 600 beautiful acres of Githabul Country in the Goomburra Valley, South East Queensland. Over the years, we've had everything from cattle, sheep and pigs to poultry, hay and seasonal crops, always guided by our belief in ethical, sustainable and regenerative farming.

These days, we’re proud to care for around 3,000 pasture-raised laying hens and about 260 Brangus cattle, all raised with respect for the animals, the land, and the community we love being part of.

Every day here is a chance to grow something good — thanks for being part of the journey.

When establishing our farming operation at Echo Valley, sound and ethical ecological farming practices took priority. Thinking long on how we could integrate these approaches into our farm systems, we developed the ‘4 Good’ principles. Everything we do aims to be simultaneously good for the animals, good for the land, good for the farmer and good for you.

These 4 values are integral to every industry on farm, with each farming enterprise at Echo Valley having been thoughtfully established to be in harmony and linked to the other on-farm systems, creating a farm that not only applies the 4 goods, but is holistic in its' approach.

With a diverse landscape of open grass grazing country, basalt uplands and remnant forested areas, we have found it is possible to create the perfect blend of environments, eliminating the need for chemicals and embracing what we believe is an ethical and regenerative approach to farming.

We're super proud to have been able to help pioneer the CSA model for regenerative agriculture in Australia, with some of our CSA members having been a part of the journey for almost a decade now! Our wholesale, retail and CSA customers keep Echo Valley going - if you'd like to be a part of it, get in touch or checkout our CSA page!
