This product is ready for you to render down into a fat with a high melting point, ideal for sauteing, frying and baking.  Try using your home rendered lard the next time you cook roast potatoes for extra crunchy spuds with extra flavour.  Lard also makes an excellent substitute for butter in your home baking.
